Ticking after timing belt change?

Hey guys, just got done changing timing belt, pulleys, tensioner, and water pump. On start up, it fired right up and idles perfect. But, I have loud tapping from valve covers. I have read that this is normal for a while.
Has anyone had this on the 3.8L? I don't want to tear back apart, unless I have to.

Tapping did go away after driving. I found that when you crank engine by hand, when setting belt, that no oil is pumped. So lifters loose oil. Takes a little while for it to build back up.
