Ecu tuning help

So I have an 8g galant that has a shitty tune on it right now. The tuning place located where I live says they don't know what software to use when they tune my galant ecu. I'm just wondering if I should invest in a evo ecu or maybe an eclipse ecu, I'm not sure. I havnt really looked at the car much cause I just bought it. Any thoughts and reply are greatly appreciated.

I would not take my car to them if they don't know for themselves...
