a/c climate control from older model Galant

Long story short I'm working on installing an aftermarket stereo in my 2012 Galant. For cosmetic reasons I'm looking on replacing the climate controls with a 2006 Galant because they are black.

This is what I'm looking to put in my 12 Galant. The pins all look the same to me, not sure if there is any other technical reason why this won't work before I go ahead and place the order?

Beware, as I did without knowing at first, when I got the black controls it was blue led behind them.
If you want to change that you may have to change everything else to match.
(You cannot open up the clusters to change bulbs, they are led's and the clusters are sealed)
