Yea, thought for sure they would have got it rather quickly. I found a killer deal on a set of 74 rods so I picked those up right away.

Thanks go to mysticj for this information that he posted on Club3g. This is the flow chart for the non-mivec 75 heads. Compared to a heavily modified 74 head, the STOCK 75 heads still out-flowed them significantly;

Those stage 3 cams should certainly make a great combination with these heads
MMMmm stroker ftw!
Thanks Matt! I would like to thank the Aussie guys, they are putting down 225-250whp with just I/H/E, and even more when they swap the 6G75 into a Diamante/Magna.
No sense in keeping the good stuff hidden IMO. Figure I may as well share all the information I come across so others here can start building some good machines on the platform. We have a few members who have taken up the 74 swap, but I know people are always looking to acheive more. Everything in this build is getting directed towards that and with a budget in mind so people are "scared away" by a huge price tag.
And so it begins...
I only had a little time after work tonight to work on it. So far all the hoses are and wiring is disconnected, radiator and headlghts are removed. I will be hitting it again tomorrow most of the day and should hopefully have it all out and sitting on a pallet.
Anyways....the beginning of a new build starts here;

and so it was written...
ah, looks strangely familiar :)
Badass! The moment I've been waiting for ever since you started digging into your engine the first time.
It's a good feeling huh? :)
Your build is quite an inspiration. Its looking great! Good luck to you on the rest of it:thumb:

Everything went extremely quick and easy for what I was expecting. The whole process took me maybe about an hour. I had a slight issue with getting the driver side axle to come out of the transmission, but I eventually "convinced it" to lol.
Wow u make it looks so easy.!!
So are you keeping the 4 speed auto or going 5 speed(auto/manual)?
damn you didn't remove the axles from the hubs? That was one of the hardest parts for me!
ps: did you find a 5 speed yet since I was a faster ninja than you and picked up that one from jet black? ;)
Ding dong the witch is dead!!! Lol lemmie know when we are gonna start your 5 spd swap sir!
*steals cf hood off Blackheart*
I thought about doing it that way, but I decided to just go straight to the trans area to make removal quick and simple.
No 5spd yet...it will be a while before that is bought even. I am focusing on getting the engine bay all cleaned up and organized nicely, get the brake system completely done, wheel issue resolved, install the 5spd shifter...pretty much the car will be sitting on jack stands for a while so I can go at the whole car.
Stupid ninjas....lol
Ha...no way the car is sitting under a security camera and will be locked away upstairs under more of the security stuff lol
