On my way to work today i was driving along side of a galant and it was strange cuz it had those cloth tops. And finally i noticed on the bad that it said it was a diamond edition. It was a galant es from 99-01 models and didn't have anything else special to it. Anyone else here or see about these?

m'eh, prolly just a rice-boy that got tired of "gold editions" and "silver editions" of cars...so he made his own diamond edition galant. :?
Someone else mentioned this car along time ago! So you aren't the first one to see this strange car. We determined that either some dealer jacked it up and added that crap or someone Modified it themselves. Either way I still think it would look like ass!

all my grandmas new cadillacs that she has now all came with ragtops but since there not convertibles i guess we have to go return em now. :cry:
Eh, most of those tops are just like the old vinyl tops, and are ok if you like a more "formal" look, but that crap that copies a ragtop, even with the little chrome covers over the rear seam, is a little ridiculous. I never understood it myself. :?

Diamond Edition galants existed overseas, didnt know they existed over here. Most likely just a dealer option...

i saw one down here in Ft lauderdale FL a while back a gold one with gold ragtop.. .was i think diamond or presidental edition or something but im positive it was a G because i actually parked next to it at mcdonalds and checked it out...
Yeah, I posted about this years ago. I've seen a few different ones around me. I thought it was pretty ugly too. I'm pretty sure it was a dealer option.
Funny you ask this question, because when i was gettin my car washed last week, the attendant asked me if my car was the diamond edition. i looked at him like he had 4 heads...he said he has never seen a ES with leather and the diamond stiched in the front seats....

I hAVE one... I like it... hear is my car with the rag top but my body kit is photoshoped black bc i havnet got it painted yet. ne ways.. they make them.
