    Bad news, again... :x Â*

I was hoping to hear "Yeah, just unbolt and bolt the new one on!!" but that's never the case, is it? </div>

Noone ever said life was easy </div>

but then again bolting parts that belong on a nissan never was easy to bolt onto a mitsu.

I kndasorta didn't know Nismo was Nissan...

This is a generic steering wheel that's supposed to be universal. I thought Nismo was just a brand, until I got it today and looked at the fine lettering under the 'Nismo' logo...

It says 'Nissan Racing' or something like that. Ugh...

I like the steering wheel a lot though. Maybe I'll cover it with something that says Mitsubishi. It's work-with-able.

I want to get the damn thing on, though. Anywhere I can pick up this 'adaptor'?

Sure is! Yet, when it doesn't have what I'm looking for, it's a different story...

You should get this steering wheel, and sell the Nismo one to someone with a Nissan

i had planned on replacing mine but i was told that i would not only lose the cruise control stick, i could also be ticketed for removing it in the first place. does anybody know if that is true or not. it might only be in the state of FL but the rules here normally arent strict

removing the factory safety device would be illegal. to tell you the truth your insurance company could drop you if they found out.

Wait, having an aftermarket steering wheel is illegal?????? Meaning, one WITHOUT an airbag? That doesn't make sense, because how many older cars don't have airbags factory...

thats factory. if its equipped with the airbag then it has to remain. if not consider paying more for insurance IMO.

if you car came with an airbag from factory then its illegal to not have it.

if your car didn't come with an airbag then its ok not to have one.

you can default your policy with some insurance places if you remove the airbags. They might tell you you aren't covered for diddly when the adjuster shows up and sees a wheel without an airbag. better check before you switch.
