The new Galant body style

i just saw the new G and i think its ugly. Gone are the good days of nice classic lines. Now we have that new Honda look for their Accord and the maxima look. I hate that look. Its all curvy and weird looking. I like the BMW and Mercedes boxy yet very smooth lines. Damn them designers!!!!

8G have the best look to them. Their lines and grill match better than the older G grills. Plus the rear lights and overall dimensions of the car look better. The older ones look too skinny and remind me of a Hyundai or Kia or even worse a Geo.

We can only wait and see Mitsubishi's sales reports and find out if the market likes the new body style.

I would not but a car that is a great machine but looks ugly. Maybe others agree on that. (not implying that the 2004 has a great engine or what not)

And, I too, don't like it. I went to see it at the Dealer, and was a bit dissapointed. It looks....fat.

Hard Sell I like both.

I still have yet to see a black 9G Galant, i think that color will look best on the 9G. In that case I think its a close call.

its the same look as the new hondas and Maxima. I don't like it. Everyone's front grill is also looking the same now. Soon you won't be able to tell the difference from a G to a Maxima to an Infinite. They all will look alike. Damn them stupid designers.

The 7 G reminds me of a Kia Sophia. And the headlights look funny. It might just be the grill and if that gets changed it'd be alright. The 8G is the best looking year.

yea the 8g definitely looks better stock than all the other generations, but i think the 6g can be made the best. i remember one member had an incredible purple 6g, and that was just nuts. but they all look good. this new one just doesnt :?

I still dont like the new style of it, no matter how much i see it.. It just looks like a damn altima.. if there where gonna change the style of it, it should have been simple, maybe a 2-door or something with a manual tranny..

I think its very clear that most of us do not like the new Galant body, but its still a Galant. And one day they (Mitsubishi) will listen to us (TGC ) and will make a rally/sports option of the Galant just for us , but until then this is where the Galant is at for now. Like it or not they will be passing by you (GTS) and you would be shaking your head while they will be saying .

I like the 8G best but I love the 6g too, I've been looking for an old one to beat up on....but there is nothing for under $600.....I found a VR-4 for 10K though....sweet!

well, I don't like the new Galants at all. Why didn't they just keep the newer style G's with the redone front end and all. They look awesome. Anyways, a GTZ engine will swap into a ES i-4 right? If so then no freakin ugly G with a crap bodystyle is going to pass me without a fight and a good finger.!!!!lol
