i think its for the 4g63 engine... the piping is 4-2-1 the one we need is 4-1

i have this feeling that it won't fit. the NT versions of the eclipse for the second gen came with 2 motors. the hard tops with hte chrysler 420a and the spyders with the 4g64. if it was for the syper, they probably would say for spyder. but yea b4 purchasing i'd confirm with the seller that it is definitely for the 4g64 and not the 420a.

and for the record, there wasn't a NT version of the 4g63 for the second gen eclipses. only the first gen. the spyders got the 4g64 because they needed a lil bit more power to compensate for the added weight of the spyder

The part with the flex section IS the down pipe. no need to have a mufler shop make anything...If its for a 4g63 or 64 (wich I doubt) it will fit, however you will have to get a shop to cut that mounting flange off, that wont fit on our engine wich is why im leaning towards it being for a 420a.

Also, the flange after the flex section looks like its a triangle with 3 bolt holes and if I remember correctly the galants piping all have 2 bolt flanges except for the one that conects to the muffler. So that may be another issue.

non-turbo 2.0L 2gs were 420a, so those would not fit from my knowledge. Has to be from a 4g63 engine or 2g 4g64 2.4L

sorry dude but i dont think there is ever gonna be decent headers unless you get lucky and someone decides to sell there rpw on ebay... plus from looking at the link it looks really similar to the stock one... i wouldnt get that if i was u....
