***need help wit brakes***

Ok, i have a 2000 G, and since i have gotten the thing wit a mile on it i have been having trouble wit the brakes. They seem to warp very quickly. The guys at the dealership said they made the roters to little for the size of the car. Without gettin a bigger brake kit right now, he said i could replace then wit the Eclipse Roters because they are bigger but would fit the G.
Now some otha guy at the same dealership said dont do it, It wouldnt help. I was wondering (A.) whos rite the first guy or the second guy? Please help i hate my fucking brakes. I gunna wind up rear endin someone

I think the Eclipse rotors are the same...just get some Brembo Rotors from Wood at Raceconceptdesign and you'll be fine....all 4 rotors will cost like 190 plus shipping....at least when I bought them that was the price.

Did this happen to u though...That the brakes suck really bad? And this new ones r good, cause this is like the 3rd or 4th set of rotors already

the rotor size between the galant and the eclipse are pretty much the same size.

now if you have an 1999-2001 i4 or a 2k2-2k3 i4 non premium, you could upgrade to the v6's brakes but the price of doing that you might as well go for an aftermarket kit.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

I had no problems but wore my pads down till they scored my rotors...so I got some nice slotted and dimpled brembos and now I stop very good....the warping rotors is a problem with the G. I suggest getting brembo and stop using OEM rotors from the dealer or brake shop.

There are different upgrades you can do to the brakes. I have crossdrilled with diff pads and those have warped as well (just took longer). I am now considering a larger rotor upgrade from autosalon.com which runs around $450 for the fronts. It uses the same caliper and a larger rotor hopefully which will handle the heat better (not warp).

My brakes were shit since I got the car, i replaced them with an aftermarket rotor and its a little better. There is some guy in jersey who has filed a lawsuit against mitsu for it, the factory tech told me its a known problem that the stock rotors will warp after about 35,000 - 40,000 miles.
