infiniti HU problem

i have the stock infiniti sound system in my 8g, and yesterday when i went to turn it on and use it with a CD, the face read "E 01" and ejected the CD. this also occured when i put in a few other cds, however the radio still worked... whats that all about? i turned the car off and back on 5 minutes later and the CD player worked again. whats going on? any help is appreciated

either the CD is dirty, scratched and/or the cd is burned from a computer

maybe the cd player went bad. try using a CD laser cleaner to fix the problem, might have a dirty lense on the laser and it can't interpret the disc.
