    95-99 mitsubishi eclipse question

I'm probably going to buy a 97 eclipse(RS) to accompany my 96 galant. my question is will the 4g63 bolt right in(i'm pretty sure it will) to the eclipse, and if so, should i get the jdm 4g63 or the gst 4g63. hopefully by next month i should have both the galant and eclipse powered by the 63!

if I were you. i'd start for looking for all the parts or a spyder or turbo eclipse. the reason i say that is cuz the rs is a dodge neon with an eclipse body. the RS has the 420a motor. so to drop the 4g63 into that RS would involve pretty much rebuilding the whole drivetrain. not just dropping in a new motor.

the mechanic who was going to sell me the rs actually has a gst that he's going to sell me. it has no frame damage, but needs a new hood, radiator, and front bumper. he said to buy the parts and he'll deduct the cost of parts from the sell price. so, i think the price of this car will be about $2,000-$2,500. pretty cheap!!! now here is the dilema!! should i keep the gst motor in the gst, and put the jdm 4g63t into the galant; or should i put the jdm cyclone motor into the eclipse, and use the gst's 4g63t to put into the galant! (which car should get the jdm motor)!!

 $2000!!!! Put the cyclone in the G, where it belongs It'll be alot friggin cheaper and alot less stressful. And alot less can go wrong.
