Speedo Problem

hey guys, on my old 7g my friend is asking me about this weirdo problem
when on the highway or just punching it on the normal roads the speedo just bounces back and forth from 0-140 like vu meters, its kinda weird

also when u start the car it goes from o-30 and back to 0, thought it was the cluster and it did the same thing, any ideas?

I thinking its the speed sensor, tho not sure

I had the same problem when I first got my car. I removed the guage cluster.. did absolutley nothing.. and when I put the cluster back in.. it worked fine. I haven't had the problem reoccur since. Seems like a loose connection or something.
