    2000 G 4 cylinder engine fuel filter Yes or no ??????

    I am getting my parts together to do a tune up this weekend I called Misubishi for the fuel filter and they guy told me I cant change it its built in.

    just wanted someone to verify that I trust you guys on here more than I trust the dealer..

    I say dont trust that fool! C'uz my team member Mike ( 02xtype ) had his fuel filter fixed not too long ago!

    ah I believe the fuel filter is in tank/on the fuel pump. Either way it should never have to be changed unless some other substance is introduced into the gas tank. Get a Walbor 190 or 255 or just save that money towards something else

    Yes - the fuel filter is in-tank, part of the fuel pump assembly. However, when you swap out your stock fule pump for an aftermarket, your replace the fule pump only in the assembly - not the filter. I can't see it needing changing barring some major problems - after all, it's only a fine-mesh "net" that traps the really big particles that might be in your tank.
