    unsteady idle

NO, the TB cable isn't tight, made sure of that 1st, hehe.

The idle will be around 1400 rpm after I turn the car on, then will drop to 900-1000 in a couple minutes. I adjusted the idle screw as it can't go any lower. Sometimes the car will drop really quick, then flare up, then sometimes my car will die.

I've been told my alternator is bad when I had autozone check it last weak. They said it's cranking out less then 50 amps when it should peak around 90.

Somebody else said something about a EGT valve or sensor or something along those lines.

If anyone has any knowledge on this, please help.

    probably a failed IAC motor.

that, or a totally filthy throttle body.
clean the throttle, remove the battery terminal for 1 minute, and make sure the adjustments are PERFECT (incidently, they should NEVER be touched. if you touched them, they are probably screwed up).

IAC, how about the ISC? Or is that the same thing.

I read on a www.vfaq.com that the isc could be messing up and causing my idle to tweak out.
