    Hollowed out converter

Is anyone else runnin with a hollowrd out cat. If so how does it sound. I'm just trying to decise wehter to shove a pipe through there or not. And if i did put a pipe through it it would have to be slightly smaller diameter than the 2 1/4. would i be able to do that without losing some power.

i got a racecat/resonator on ebay instead... the test pipe was too noisy... i got it for 60 shipped... you can try going for that i would recommend it... if not mine is 30 shipped... sorry no gaskets though...u can try using your stock ones...yea it replaces the cat...bolt on....

Would the stock resonator give me more flow than the stock converter?

i've said it time and time again, stick as many resonators as you can in the exhaust stream. dynomax bullet race "mufflers" are great for this, they don't have any restriction

Ok so i bought a resonatart that was liek 2 feet long and put that behind the empty cat and it sounds really good. not raspy anymore and not to loud either. i'm going to try to get some sound clips as soon as i figure out how.

2 feet long? Thats like a glass pack muffler from a hotrod. You can buy ones 45" long for 35 bucks.
