    Is it possible?

Is it possible to change the 6G72's engine's bore x stroke etc and other various specs to match another engine's design, or would this be catastrophic? Just wondered what would happen if we were able to change it to say 84 x 89.6 mm with a higher compression ratio, etc...would we be able to get more power out of the 6G72 engine or is this as stupid as giving me a license to drive? 8)

RPW makes a stroker kit that will take it out to 3.8l with a mild overbore and higher compression pistions you could see some decent gains. I have been warned about thin cylindar walls on our block. Another thing to remember is the 3.5l shares alot of the same parts including the bottom end as our engine basicly a diffrent bore and stroke to give a larger displacement. I have not personally torn down our engine this is just info I have gleamed from RPW and local shops. I cannot swear an oath on it.

Hmm...making a transplant from the Diamante more feasible than stroking it?
