what's the deal with these? do they work the same or do I HAVE to get the ones for the galant? there's a $35 difference in price.

As long as you get the right heated sensor for you application, they work the same. But keep in mind, if you have any warranty left, parts might be voided by a non-mitsu part.

i have O2 sensors for the 8G if you wanna buy em. only have about 30k miles on them. work fine, just didn't need them when i rebuilt the motor.
