In response to the "spark plugs and wires for 8g"

Instead of just locking it with that post, why not find out WHY he wants spark plug wires, instead of sending him that site linked to expensive plug wires that will most likely be effectively useless to him?

Unless you have a reason to upgrade your ignition, don't. Spark plugs should be replaced with stockies or NGK's, which may or may not be the same. They should always be gapped properly and be in the correct heat range. But changing out wires for some "high-performance" wire is not going to do ANYTHING while you're still mostly stock. Even modified, they won't do anything. Until you start getting into boost or nitrous, stick with stock.

Because the moderators have all the answers, all the time.

No we don't have the answers all the time. but doing a search would cut down on the number of post that are exactly the same.

Please refrain from running the mods down.

very correct. you'll acheieve .5hp at most if you throw all that stuff on a stock motor. even if you are in need of colder spark plugs for your turbo/nitrous/supercharger etc, stick with copper. don't ever get anything else. platinum/iridium is completely 100% worthless.

    You mean like this answer???

How many posts have people written about their idle being too high because they pulled the throttle adjustment plate all the way back...The mods may have al the answers, but they certainly aren't always the RIGHT answers.

No more mod bashing. if you have a problem with a mod take it up with me or with that mod directly.
