    Quick Questions

    Will 18X8 5-114.3 with 38 offset fit.

I doubt it, but just wanna check with you smart folks on this site.

I know the 17 inches will fit perfectly cause they have a 18X7.5 5-114.3 with 42 offset

You think i should go with 17s or the 18s.

    And if i get the 18 should i get 225/ 40-18 or 215/ 40/-18

definitely if you go with 18's go with the 225's, if you get 18x8 chances are its gonna stick out and if you rub its definitely gonna rub. I have 18x7.5's and anything wider than that would stick out. I put a 8mm spacer on my front wheel to cuz i was having a center cap problem and my rims stick out a hair as it is and thats only like 5/16th of an in wider.

They should fit, I was going to get my first tire/wheels from Discount Tire, Enkei CP1, 18X8 5-114.3 38. I never did, so I can't tell you for sure, but discount said they would fit.

Ya i know i would much rather go with the 18s but i dont know if i wanna have them sticking out. You think that one extra inch is worth the compramize

the 18's will fit. but if you're dropped or you're gonna be dropped, then thats when you might encounter problems with rubbing.

but yea go with the 225/40.

here are my 18's with a i think 38mm offset. they don't stick out that much. but then again, im also at stock height.

did you have to extend your wheel studs when you put the 8mm spacer?
ilooked at one of those spacers over the weekend at pepboys and it said on the back of the package that with the spacer on you should have less then 1/2" of stud showing past the spacer then you should extend your studs.

8.5" but don't be like me. i don't listen to my own advice. i know i'll run into problems later down the road because of my low offset and the wideness of my wheels
