Well not really. Look in your driverside door jam, it might say DSM on it. Some 7gs are but for the true DSM guys 1g/2g turbo only they wont consider you a DSM. Technically only some 7gs, turbo 1g, turbo 2gs, 6gvr4s are DSM. Evos and 3kgt vr4s are not.

Yea.. theres a white sticker saying Diamond Star Motor and other crap.. and theres other white stickers with red lettering saying DSM.. on my trunk too... Does this count as a real DSM? or no? if so, is that good? is there a difference between DSM and non DSM 7g galants?

No difference. Your car just means it was made in Normal, IL along with the turbo 1gs and 2gs

well, my G says DSM all over it. inside the door panel, under the hood against the firewall, i found it under the engine on something once. i saw it on the cabin side of the firewall too.

Diamond Star Motors (DSM) was a joint effort between Mitsubishi and Chrysler's Eagle and Plymouth divisions. This partnership is responsible for producing the Eclipse, Talon and Laser and some 7gs which we refer to DSM cars.

DSMs usually have major problems tho w. throwing rods.. all of the people on my other websites w. DSMs usually post once a month about a new problem their car is facing, they call it "More DSM Blues"

??? Throwing rods? hah whatever. But DSMs do usually have a lot of problems, usually they are due to modifications. Uaually Stock turbo 1g/2g/gvr4s dont give out problems...
