Do you like the GTZ door cladding?

I can't make up my mind if I like the lower door cladding on the LS/GTZ or like the rub strip from the ES better. What do you think?

I like the GTZ cladding, it adds a little more width to the bottom of the door and it looks more agressive than the standard strip...but I'm biased.

i like the DE/ES cladding better. it looks more cleaner IMO.

if that doesn't work for you then i'll say "its like the jdm style"

Yes, I agree, without wheels the GTZ looks better.

the GTZ cladding (it came on the 99-01 LS as well) was one of the reasons i got the ESV6. it just reminded me of the old jeep grand cherokee too much. not to burst any bubbles, but there is not much difference between the ESV6 and the LSV6 and GTZ (hp is rated exactly the same). anything that the GTZ had over the ESV6 i added on or replaced anyways (wheels, springs, stereo, wing, sway bars, power driver seat, leather, etc.). if i was going to stay completely stock tho, i would have bought a GTZ.

Stock GTZ is alot better about body roll IMHO.

I'm pretty sure they are the same minus the sway and stabilizier bars.

I think the GTZ has higher springrates as well compared to the ES V6

the GTZ has diferent springs, a thinner front sway bar and a thicker rear sway bar, as compared to the ESV6 and LSV6. but the difference is not big (0.5" lower and +-1mm smaller and larger front to rear respectively). the GTZ has less body roll and less understeer because of the slightly thicker rear sway and higher spring rates... but aftermarket performance parts outperform the OE parts anyway so just but getting performance springs, performance dampers (or full coilovers) and a thicker rear sway bar, you have a car that handles better than any stock 8G.
