I was pondering

Just sitting and chilling and an interesting idea came into my head.
A 94 gs is allwheel drive, most eclipse parts can be swapped into a g.
If a fwd eclipse tanny can be put into a fwd g, can't a awd eclipse tranny be put into the gs. Would it be worth it because then you can probly boost the 2.4 gs engine and still have the benifits of awd (that is if the eclipse tranny and driveshaft is stonger the the gs)? Turbo GS anybody?
The things u can do with that setup......

the gs isn't awd...its all wheel disc brakes

hehe I wish it was AWD(all wheel drive )! Yes a 2g awd transmission will bolt up. But the problem lies with the driveshaft tunnel and rear differential. I have not done very much research on how a 2g rear awd car is setup but Im pretty sure the 2g awd suspension will bolt up along with the rear diff will a little bit of cutting, welding, removal of the gas tank. Heres another problem we were discussing earlier this month. Our exhaust tunnel is pretty small, I have yet to compare it to a 2g awd, but there might not be enough room for exhaust and the driveshaft.

So it has yet to be done. But I want to do it too 8)
