Flip flop trunk tutorial

ok, i did it finally! but now i have 1 issue:

Here is the setup i finally went with and it works really well.

But, this is the one problem i have:

the reason it does this, i think, is because of my spoiler. does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this.

here is my fix for now:

ok here is an addendum to the mod. i have found a way to keep the trunk open with the trunk flopped down and also make it easy to switch between the two without tools.

these first two locks are in position when the trunk is in normal mode:

these two locks are in use when the trunk is in the open position
and you are ready to flop the trunk:

So pretty much it does teh job of the stock bottom screws or latches, correct?

Latches didnt work well, i would have to drll the hole at the bottom of the braces so it will hold them just liek teh screws
