    SDS Question.

    Has anyone had any problems with a balance shaft bearing siezing or anything?

    Didn't sieze - but started to make the sounds of going out - so was rpl'd by RIPP.

    I did have my idle pulley from the kit sieze. Shredded my belt.

    Cant you remove the balance shaft or does the SDS use it?

    ^^^^^^^Yeah i was wondering this. Do you have to have it or can you just take it out and run without it problem free?

    I know for non-SDS engines(at least the i4) you can buy a balance shaft eliminator kit and not even worry about it or the belt. Just one less thing to break and throw your timing belt off...
