for under $900 you can do it with OEM parts if you get a good deal on a 5spd from a 2g eclipse turbo or 7G galant. if you have to buy everything part by part, could get pricey.
So do you know where i can guy these products from. BTW thanks a lot for the help.
The local junkyard.

What parts can i use from an eclipse which will fit my 94 galant?

any part from a 2g (95-99) eclipse TURBO will fit. slight differences include a 2g tranny having shorter gears, and i remember seth saying the 2g shifter cables were a smidgen longer than the galant ones. buy any 2gturbo/7gGalant tranny and it'll fit fine. as far as finding parts, start junk yard shopping, and pray you find a 5spd eclipse or galant, or go on ebay.
I went to a junk yard and got everything i needed for $135, from a 95 Galant
Is it true that 94-98 mitsubishi galants are extremely hard to find with a manual transmission

eh, idk but i went to my j-yard and they had one there....maybe i just got lucky?</div>
you got extremely lucky. 7Gs are extremely rare all by themselves, but then a 5spd 7G is almost like a four leaf clover. they only have like 30 7Gs in all SoCal junkyards, none were 5spd

damn, then i should've taken advantage of this 5spd 7G that they had there.....
THey arent that rare. I consider a 94 GS rare, but 5spd 7gs arent too rare. 97/98 5spds are rare, but not so much for 94-96...

Think it depends where you are.. in NYC there used to be atleast 2 7gs per block...they were mad popular..junkyards are packed with them now up here.

definitely the area, seeing a working 7G is once to three times a month in my area, i have yet to find ONE in a junk yard, except for LA
As far as on the road, i see 7G's all the time, some 94 - 96, but a lot of 97-98, Now a 7G with the Dohc hump is rare, glad i got one hehehe.
