Mercedes wheels on a 8G Galant?

I was browsing some wheels on Super Buy Tires and they list a lot Mercedes wheels for the car. I know for a fact that MBs PCD is 5x112 and thought that Galants had 5x114.3.

I know I've seen some galants overseas with Brabus wheels, etc. but had thought they were modified to fit.

The listing on SBT makes me think otherwise ? Thoughts?

Yeah, the 8G Galants have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and the stock offset is +46mm. So, if there are any MB wheels out there with the proper bolt pattern, I highly doubt the offset would be close enough to fit.

Interesting. The S and CL wheels have an offset of +44 for the 8.5 wheel so it's pretty damn close but I don't think they make a 5x114.3 bolt pattern so I'm confused why SBT would list it as available. Also did another search and TheWheelSupply put on MB wheels on a Honda Odyssey which has the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

I'm wondering coz' there's this wheel I like but only has a bolt pattern of 5x112 for MB and Audi.

Well, a +44mm offset with the proper bolt pattern probably won't work either with a wheel that is 8.5" wide. That setup would more than likely cause rubbing on the suspension. With an offset like that, you don't want to go over 8" wide.

Thanks for the info Danj ! Guess I'll stick to something else.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.
