Walbro 190. You do not need the 255 even though its almost the same price, it requires an AFPR. If you just want a little more from the stock pump do the rewire. If you do not have many performance mods done right now, you will not benifit from a higher flowing pump.

yup, that sums it up. if you're not going to be running any form of FI, just do the re-wire. if you are going to be strapping some extra hp then get a 190 and re-wire it as well.

Even if you are FI, it's not necessary unless you're running higher boost.

Don't ever get a walbro 255. If you need more than the 190, it's time to get a different brand. The 255 is loud as shit, the whirring of the pump is audible over a 4-cylinder with exhaust at WOT.

but i love the tone my 190 makes! you can hear it over the exhaust at idle, but once i give it gas you can't really hear it anymore. it's really loud outside the car at a stop light.

fuel pumps are identical, and the rear fuel pump assembly under the back seat is the same too.

I defintly cant hear my 190 over my exhaust..its not loud to me at all.. fp is a very easy install..just dont smoke while doing it =P

And make sure you have the propper tools/creativity to do the job cause the nut holdin on the fuel line to the brass tubes on the pump assembly is a real bitch...and if you put too much pressure in the wrong way you will twist the brass tube and rip it open..

I disagree. Guess I got a "good" one becuase mine is not loud enough to hear over anything but idle in park...
