Getting the car ready for winter

Does anyone get there car ready for winterr if so what do you folks do? In mid Nov. I usually take my 18's off and put the 16 w/ winter tires. I Also think it would be smart to CAI and make it a short ram? Any other suggestions....

Being in Texas I usually don't change a thing...

I won't bother making my CAI a short ram. I'm not worried about sucking water or snow, even in NY. I will be taking off my 18" rims though. I'm not sure whether I will be putting the stock 16's with covers back on or getting new tires for my old chrome 17's and putting those on for the winter.

Might be an idea to flush your anti freeze...or at least top it up. Also get some windsheild washer fluid that has the ice melting stuff in it...that will help you if it gets frosty!! A remote starter wouldnt hurt either...
