    another option swap

    What about swapping in a 4G63, anyone have any ideas on that deal.

    It should fit pretty easy.

    Though I think the tranny faces the right. but it uses an idler gear.

    How would you control the automatic or would it be best to switch to a manual.

    As for engine control I think a haltech would be the way to go.

    it would need to be a 4g63 from a EVO 5/6/7 (Maybe EVO 4 as well?) but those EVOs i believe have a reverse rotation setup like our Galants. It would cost a good bit extra to put a 4G63 from a 1G/2G Eclipse in our 8G Galants seeing as those Eclipses have a standard rotation motor, it could be done though.
