    New RPW Supercharger Kit

    Check it out! 8)

    http://www.mogwa.org/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6818
To cut a long story short RPW has been in talks with an international firm and we are instead going to be starting the manafacturing of our own superchargering kits for the auto model vehicles. Best of all our kits will come with the optiional intercooling function for those wanting to run more than 4 psi boost.

Breakdown of our kit is that

    - Will be using a Eaton M90 unit roots type blow
    - Will come with optional Water - Air intercooling
    - no engine mods needed
    - Fitment will take around 4 hours in total on vehicle
    - Designed with use of rpw injectors, fpr unit, fuel pump and greddy e-manage package
    - No pulleys to modify will replace existing long serpentime belt on engine using origonal tensioner setup
    - will fit over rear bank like factory manifold no extensive ftting modifications required

We will be fitting the first kit as per our plans in March 2005 and once we confirm all is good, we will then start the whole manafacturing of this kit.
Mind you, this is orginally for the Aussie Magna (Diamante here), but that kit may work for us V6ers too.

Unfortunately, that looks like the sticky point - heck, their twin turbo kit is $6800 :?

I'd say it will be less than that, but it has an advantage of replaceing the intake manifold, not having to worry about the SDS drive shaft balancing and the ability to use an Intercooler and Methanol cooling with minimal modification...worth 7700, no....a hellofalotoffun? You bet your sisters panties it will be.

why? roots style SCs produce enormous amounts of heat, and cannot provide as much boost as the centrifugal style SC in the ripp kit. the advanatge to me looks like a simpler install. but vegasmatt said 10k Au is 7700 USD...so it may well be the same price as a stage 3 kit from ripp (5600). and the stage 3 kit from ripp not only would provide more boost, but more electronics, all fuel accesories, pistons, and rods.
