    spark plug question

will NGK Irridium IX BKR6EIX-11 work in my i4. i was loking at something and it says they work on Mitsubishi Eclipse RS, GS 1995 to 1998, Eclipse 1996 1997 420A, 1999 to 2001
Eagle Talon ESI 1995 to 1998 ECF, 1996 to 1998
    Dodge Avenger ES 1996 to 1998, Avenger 1995 to 1999 2L4 & much more.
should i have any problems, if i will wats the part number for the irridium IV that will work on a stock engine.

They will work - but could foul prematurely - especially when driving short distances. Those are 1 range colder than stock. What you want for stock replacement is BKR5EIX-11. But, FWIW, on the I4 there is no reason to use the iridium, you'll pretty much get the same performance and better idle on a fresh new set of coppers - either BKR5ES-11 or BKR5E-11 - only difference in the 2 is the E is 'v-powered" - it has a small v-grove on the contact.

stick with stock, unless you have a highly modded engine, you won't tell much of a difference in HP, save your money.

Genuine experience carries a lot more credibility than the ability to answer a question.
