    Fuel Filter

    does the v6 have a fuel filter that needs replacing ?...approaching 100K ...

    Yes your car does have a fuel filter and at 100k it might be a good idea to replace it.I just replaced mine at 51k and it looked kinda nasty.There was some dirt and grim in there which was nice to get it cleaned out.Check with your dealer to see if they have them for your car or check the internet.I went to the dealer to buy the filter for my 02 and they said they didn't have any and that they have never changed any fuel filter for 02.I replaced my fuel pump so it came with a new filter,check around you might find something.good luck maximus
