RMDSM front and rear sway bars

I can't believe this! As it turns out, the RMDSM front and rear sway bars will fit the Galant. The rear will fit with no mods needed. After all the time waiting on the Addco rear sway bar to come out and then waiting for them to fix the fitment, I could have bought a superior setup in the RMDSM bars. I only assumed the rear RMDSM bar wouldn't fit just like the Suspension Techniques bar wouldn't, but after posting on 2GStratus.org, I was told that it fts fine. I just searched their forums and found THIS thread.

I'm highly thinking about getting rid of my recently installed Addco rear bar for the RMDSM setup. The rear bar is 24mm and the front bar is 17.5mm. Click here.

So, what if you have a carbon fiber wallet like I do. No, seriously, my wallet is made with carbon fiber.

    Yeah.. still kinda unclear.

A strut bar is easy to put on..
The rear tie bar.. a different story.
What does it connect to.. what part of the rear suspension?

Well, a sway bar is different than a tie bar.

In the pic below, the gold bar is my Addco rear sway bar.

In this other pic, the red is where a rear lower tie bar would connect. You can also see the stock rear sway bar which is black.

hey ok.. sorry but is this the same as the d3 stasis kit? is it just th back bar or front and more..? i am sorry.. kind of lost

  19. #19
no, this is not the same...the d3 chassis kit ADDS more components to your chassis...the sway bars are simply REPLACED by the addco or RMDSM bars....we already have sway bars front and rear in stock form...the d3 kit adds 5 bars in total (1 front, 2 mid, and 2 in the rear)

OK, see the pic I posted a couple posts up with the blue arrows? The blue arrows are pointing to the bars that come in the D3 chassis stiffening kit.

Here is a view from the front.
