    power steering fluid

    Ok guys i know the power steering fluid required is dextron 2 atf,but the thing is that a lot transmission fluids dont say just dextron 2.So can i use one that says that it meets dextron 2 standards?Thanks guys.

    I have always used regular 'power steering' fluid. Never heard of using ATF.

    I use Mobil1 Synthetic ATF... no issues

    In my owners manual it says dextron 2 atf

    same for the 6g....i use dextron III, says it meets or exceeds dextron II on the back, u can also use dex/merc or mercon v
