    Grille sizes for 94-98?

    I finally got my T-bar from the shitty Mitsu dealership service and I take off my hood bar, install the t bar and notice that the grilles are too damn big...
    AHHHHH, I wish my custom fiberglass peice was DONE...!!!

    Anyway, does anyone know if the oem grilles between the headlights and t bar on a 94-96 are a different size from the 97-98???? Craig you should know this since you did the conversion...

    Please someone help me out...I finally want to get this shit done so I can get my car ready for saturday.

    Thanks.

    do you have to put a grill in? i think it would look better if you just left out the grill...kinda like the 8gs and put some grill mesh in there

    post that one pic of your car with the kit that shows your grill and ill photoshop that little knob on the bumper out and put in some grill mesh

    The grilles are much different.

    The 94-96 are flat black, have less louvers, are inlaid into the front, and curve out:

    The 97 & 98, as I'm sure you know, in 97, were painted the same color as tha car, and in 98, were black w/crome accent, had more louvers, were flush w/ the front, and curved out:

    Second one: Durban 88 - Buckskin - SHP - Auto - Sold to more capable hands
    Next one: White 84 flatty - t3/t4 - VELNAS - More to come

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(seth)</div><div class='quotemain'>

    </div>

    But it looks so.... empty. Some mesh that's the same color as the car might work though or a billet grill would be different.

    The gaps where the headlights meet the bumper is bad enough.

    Nice PS job though Seth, that photo looks like it was taken with a fish-eye lens LOL

    What I just thought of today, was getting an 8G grill, and hack that up to fit. Cut the bars/louvers, then cut everything to fit, fiberglass together and smooth. Then paint. Hell, I could do it if I could get ahold of an 8G grill, and an erebuni front...

    Shouldn't be too hard...
