ok is there anything you guys can think of to do to my car to make it faster without spending any money illegal or not

stop eating, less weight.
rip out the interior (ghetto style)
put a bag of ice on your intake pipe...oh wait, that costs 95 cents

let me put it this way, even spending a couple hundred isn't going to do shit for your car, except an intake and muffler, and you'll bring you a whopping 5hp. save money for real speed, forced induction, or just forget about it.

your acceleration will not change one bit from that, it just makes it so the engine revs more immediately when you press the gas pedal down.

haha, buy a hitch for $90 and put it on a porsche turbo. all that hp for $90, i'd do it

For the 305 V8 caprice's theres a free mod that help ever so slightly, it's called the "swiss cheese airbox mod" where all you have to do is drill holes into the airbox, which allows more air to flow in. Don't know if it would work on the 7G though.

Now thats just silly, you'll lose more performance then you think you'll gain. Big V8 would gain power without mufflers, cats and with 3in piping, not our little 4bangers that need that backpressure.

Like the others said i dont think there are any free mods, maybe gut the interior, remove everything seats, dash headliner. Then remove the hood, trunk, doors. The you can remove the windsheilds (their heavy it'll slow you down). Then chop the roof off (free if you have a tool to chop it off)

yeah, for the 4banger, taking off the muffler will kill some of your power. my muffler has been off for a while now so the car can get painted and i can still feel the difference, it's such a slug
