They are not listening dude. Bad motor mounts an probably being rough on the car will also cause it to break.

you know when i went to dealers to replace again they said to get the timing belt replaced also cuz a bad timing belt causes too much vibration too

    Intake Manifold Cracked

Number two for me- i pulled my own intake out of a 03 junked car and paid $25 for the manifold. i am going back to try again but for now i am putting jb weld on it. WTF Mitsubishi-

i'm glad as shit i found this site as i would have been driving that damn car into the parking lot and doing what i do best----acting like an asshole to the customers and trying to get some attention to my problem(if they ignore me like usual.)

in closing, this car has already had the engine rebuilt due to a broken balance shaft positioner belt fn up, all new everything to exlclude the fuel/oil pumps and the worst part is that my wife drove this car for 100k and believe me, cars last for her. they do not for me and i will state that any day. i feel like just giving it away and starting over or just taking the bike :(

sorry to hear if you get rid of it. but if you keep it, get the outlander manifold because JB weld wont hold. too much grease and other chemicals on your IM jb weld wont last a day

I think you people aren't fixing the real issue here and that's the motor mounts that allow the engine to rock back and forth and that is what's causing this crack. You dont keep putting air in the tire if it goes low every couple of days, you go and fix the tire. If you cant afford maintenance on your vehicles then your car will return the favor by leaving your ass hanging. My first Galant had the same intake manifold for 7 years before it cracked because I didn't know my motor mounts were bad and allowing the engine to rock back and forth every time I step on the gas and let off the gas. I replaced the motor mounts and bought a used intake manifold from a member here and it's been fine ever since.

Do they make engine torque dampers for our cars? As this would further reduce the vibration,,,,even on good motor mounts

defintely having my friend replace the motor mounts

his shop did the engine tear down and rebuild and has been friggin nice to let me come back with help on multiple issues-kind of like buying an insurance policy-----
