    do the I4 and V6 share the same exhuast piping?

    To an extent, yes. Cali-spec cat-back is the same. You will have differences in Fed-Spec cat-back. You will also have differences in Cali- or Fed-spec before the cat.

    Yeah, the V6 will use more exhaust piping considering they use two headers instead of one.

    i recently bought an axle back from someone on this board. they had an 01 ES and i got an 01 GTZ. I seem to be having some fitment issues. Its leaving me feeling very discouraged.

    The piping size is different on the gtz compared to the i4.I bet you are having problems bolting upto the exhaust flange at the rear crossmember correct.The flange and the piping on a gtz is 2.5 and the i4 is 2.25 if you want to install that axle back you will have to cut the flange,buy a reducer and reweld it all together.

    Thats not too bad. I wish thats all I had to do to put my header on :evil:
