    8G with HID Projectors Retrofit

If you haven't already seen this at HIDPlanet.com,
this guy retrofitted his 8G with e46 bi xenon HID projectors.
I think it looks really good. Nice and simple!

Don't know about the e46 but HIDPlanets has the valeo projectors, hella ballasts and bulbs combo kit for $450+ ( can't remember the exact price). But like you said, it looks easy enough to do.

I've been talking about doing that for the longest time, but my lighting isn't a priority for me since I don't do alot of night driving. I was planning on buying an Audi A6 kit from www.hidtech.com for $450.

I will be doing a retrofit of e55 bixenons for the g in about a month or two. Just need to finish my new montero retrofit...which is also getting e55 bixenons with the e46 shrouds and ccfl angel eyes.

I like the e55 e-codes better than the e46 e-code and dot. I went to my local supplier and we did some comparisons of those 3. same bulbs and ballast and the e55's had a sharper cutoff and more evenly spread light.
