    Blinking spoiler light-

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!! I was driving up I-75 N back to Cincinnati. I saw this car with a spoiler on it and when he hit the brakes, the spoiler light blinked off and on and I thought that was the fattest thing I ever saw. I went on a mission for like a month to see if any car shops could do it and unfortunately nobody knew how to do it. I even went to auto zone and bought some blinkers like an idiot, thinkin I could rewire some sh... on my own. Does anybody know how to do this??

Unfortunately, this guy retired from making the lights. Don't think he is going to be making any more either.

I was gonna do that until I found out it was illegal, but it should be easy. All you need is a flasher from Autozone and tap the spoiler light to the flasher unit. I saw a Ford Taurus with one, but his flashed when he had his indicator flashing.

In CA it work like this:
you can have your third brake light flsh 3 times before becoming solid. Your other brake lights must be solid at all times. My mom's Honda Pilot does it stock, personally it pisses the shit out of me because cars that have that tend to have all their brake lights out except for the top one, so it looks like their pulsating their brakes when they're really not. However, you should be able to buy/make a relay to do this with a little bit of electronic knowledge

So did you do it yourself, or did your car already come like that? If you did it yourself, could you explain how you did it.

this came out as a safety feature in the late nineties in texas to make people more alert that your brakes were on. it decreased insurance by some amount or something like that. or at least it did in texas. but i dont see anyone with it anymore
