WHERE TO LOCATE THE ALARM CONTROL ON AN 02 GALANT

im trying to tie a led scanner into my alarm so it turns on when my alarm is active, can anyone tell me where the alarm control box is located on an 02 galant?

when I used to have these on my 01 with an aftermarker alarm we just tapped into the 1 led that was already installed with the alarm
do the stock alarms come with an led?

i just hooked mine up to the cigarette lighter i believe. it turns on when you turn the car off and turns off when you turn the car on.

no, the 02 doesn't come with any led when the alarm is active...& i think the cigarette lighter only stays on for a couple of minutes after the car is shut off ???

most scanners have 3 wires. power ground and the trigger. if the trigger senses + electricity it won't turn on. but as soon as that goes away or it turns into ground - it turns on.
