    Turbo Kit

Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I'm really thinking about adding a turbo to the G ever since I got flagged by a Jeep Wrangler, but I dont want to go searching for parts from different places. If I can get a kit with everything, then I'm a happy camper.

I just so happened to stumble upon this little gem over at GF.

Here is the the website http://www.i-m-racing.com/ma4gtukit4ec.html

Can anyone tell me if this is a good buy. Cost is about $3000. I will admit that I dont know a damn thing about Turbos or FI. I just need something that works and is reliable, nothing that will have me worrying about blowing up my car or motor.

For the same price you could join the group buy for the upcuming CMF turbo kit, and that will fit for sure

yeah, and the downpipe doesn't fit either. you can build your own turbo kit for $1,000 or less.

Sorry, my bad, I guess I'm just too happy about it. However, CMF is going to make a kit for the 4G64 as well

I have a 2000 GS Cali Spec, & there were no problems getting the kit on at all. . I would reccomend running the stock motor with the max-rev kit bolted on. I'm making incredible horsepower (dyno's will be posted within 2 weeks) on the stock motor. I was dyno'd up to 6lbs still un-tuned & was able to get 234 whp. Now that I have the right components together for the fuel system, I am ready to a re-tune & dyno for 12-13psi. Should get me cleanly over 300whp.

I linked to the V6 forum accidently, sorry for the confusion, the second link is for the I4, however I don't even see the deposit thread starting yet for that one.

Is it me or something? If I do not have an understanding of a new product I compare it to one that works that gets very few complaints (if any) and go with that. Your not breaking any new records instead your trying to recreate the wheel. I wouldnt even bother sending that place an email just because they dont even give you the courtesy of showing you what it looks like installed, no before and after dyno sheets nothing.
