    Custom Headlights...

Im pretty sure alot of owners have thought of this.. how about customizing a Low Beam and High Beam for our 7th Gen? like similar to these head lights...

    http://www.mulsanne.com/html/morette.html

For example, making a headlight bezel and putting a Projector Low/Hi Beam

    and Hi Beam

    Feel free to reply...

The closest one to a 7g is the old school impreza... If you could fabricate something that could replace the headlight lense(clear plastic) this would be no problem

never been done on a 7G before, to my knowledge. we have horrible light output from our housings, so anything is better than stock.

if someone can make it.. what kind of material should be used for the base of the lamps? fiberglass or abs plastic? all we need is to make a mould and a base to hold the lamp stable?

never been done probably cause most 7ger's won't pay $500+ for some headlights, hell that's half a turbo install.

Looks like they fiberglassed over the stock headlights, and that california top looks pretty good on the 7g, wonder how it looks with the top open and fully retracted.

    hi.. just updating this thread...

On monday im going to shops/companies that customizes plastic moulds. How many 7G owners would really be interested in this if i can get the shop to fabricate moulds of our headlamp assemby to hold a projector type(low beam) and sealed type (hi beam)

Has anyone photoshop'ed a 7G with clear headlamps and projectors?

if you can guys can do something like this for a 7g i will be first in line, the only problem is there are enough impala and caprice guys for that guy to make those, I dont know if theres enough of 7gers here to do custom headlights like those. But that guy started with hella projectors and the little blue one is a driving light (optional on the kit he's making). and the one on top of the little blue one is the turn signal (which is inboard on the caprice and impalas of the 90's)

well i've contacted a couple of companies they said the minimum they would fabricate is at least 20 for a headlamp assembly.. so i just need to make sure that at least 20 people are definitely in... still unsure of how much money im about to throw away at this project...

cool.. is it possible to try using the hella ones i've posted earlier.. cause that'll be the one ill be using..

i believe moulding the mounts for the projector and sealed beam is easy.. but getting a clear cover for the fronts, i think it'll be hard.. i know i wouldn't want them to break/chip when struck by stone chips or pebbles
