and it appears the headers are now $600 before shipping now aka out of my rannngee

I have the CMF headers for the V6, they were pretty good build quality, no rust so far after about 1 year. I have the version 1 V6 headers, and they definitly added some power.

I would expect the same quality 403 stainless on the i4 version. 600 is a little steep for them tho, the V6 headers are only a little over 100 more.

Xrs2 have you had it dynoed?

    Sorry for the OT everyone.

Anyway, No I never got a baseline, so the power added would be speculation anyway. I did however do alot of trial and error running with a gforce meter. And it shows significant time increases in the 0-60 with the headers.

Here are my results from another thread

    ----
I have an GTZ with IHE and my fastest 0-60 was about 6.5 seconds. That was with a solid launch and no spin really. On average im at about 0-60 in 7 secs.

I have a relzo 2600 in now, so I imagine it could be faster. I also need to get my TB bored, my throttle respone could be better. edit, I no longer have the relzo in my car, it is sitting in a box on my floor.

I used one of the gtech car computer things to monitor my upgrades. it went like this

My 0-60 times with various mods.

But somewhere in there I removed the spare tire, and then later added an xbox. Either way I am under stock weight barely.

Stock, don't know but read it is around 9
    AEM CAI ~8.25
    CMF Headers ~7-7.25
    DYNOMAX Catback + tuneup ~7

Best was like ~6.5. Note I DO NOT launch my car, I go from full standstill idle RPM. I DO NOT brake launch to test mods.
    ----

So I lost about 1 second on my 0-60 with the headers, however I'd say most of the power is added on the topend of the powerband, you can really notice it cruising the highway at higher speeds.

yea i got the CMF for my i4, and power is defintaly noticed more in topend. im glad i got them when the group buy was goin on, cause now the price for them is a lil crazy.

wow, 110whp on a stock 3G I4???? i guess the 5spd makes a bigger difference than i thought, there's no way the auto will break over 100whp considering the 7G auto makes about 90whp
