they bolt up just fine. just remove the old tails, remove the old harness from the tails, put the harness in the new tails and bolt on the new tails, if you are familiar with your tails, 10 minute job tops...

If you need to buy them www.donherring.com also has good prices on OEM parts. As Pinoy said this is a 10min. mod. Just take the old ones out and put the new ones in. I know there was a group buy for JDM taillights so you may want to see if anyone with a 2002 that got them would be interested in selling theirs.

Yes they will fit the '99 also. All the US spec 8G galants have interchangeable tails, I believe.

Yes, they're interchangable. I have 2002 tails on my 99 GTZ. Looks very nice, too
