    muffler fittment

    i have a 2000 i4 galant and was looking at a muffler. which size will fit my car a 60mm muffler or 80mm will any of these fit?

    post the muffler you're looking at.. if its online. mainly we go by inches for fitment, not mm

    its easy to go between english and metric conversion. just get one of them conversion utilities like this one http://www.psinvention.com/zoetic/convert.htm

    now the 60 and the 80 are those the inlet or the outlet of the muffler.

    if its inlet 60mm is like almost 2.4 inches and the 80 is like a lil over 3 inches. the 60mm inlet would be good enough if you are running 2.25" or 2.5 inch pipe and the 80 would be better if u were running something higher than 2.5"

    if its the oulet the 80mm outlet would look better. the 60mm outlet would look like stock
