    2.4 modding

    if you build a 2.4 galant up from ground, anyone know what the hp potenital is on it i have a chance to get a complete motor cheap to rebuild dont know if its worth it help

    With enough money - and sacrificing some conveniences like mileage - there's loads of potential: Forged rods, domed pistons, evo head swap, RPW's stack intake, cams, etc... Then there's the FI options. But what it'll all add up to HP-wise, I can't say. You should really look at how much you wanna spend and go from there. You could easily sink $5k, $7k, $10k or more in an engine build...

    lol - too true. But I think it's cars in general - at least for me. I'm easily between the $5k and $7k marks on my engine... maybe a wee bit over...

    i hope your getting another transmission with that engine lol but the 2.4 in very capible of making alot of power if you dont think so why not make it a 2.5 or a 2.6 the walls are deep enough to make it a 2.7 safely i mean if your gonna do all that custom work with pistons and rods why not increase the bore

    and if you wanna know all about bore increasing..
    ask Headache , our first 2.8ltr I4!..and probably only..nationwide?
