im sure it is possible but i dont think ive seen it. But here's the deal my friend has a T25 from his 1997 eagle talon tsi. I was wondering if it was possible to bolt this onto the 4G64 2000 galant. If anyone could help me, could you let me know everything i need for this project, what i need to do, pros and cons, anything would be helpful. thank you, Soup.

You dont want to put a T25 on your 4g64.
yes, the T25 can fit on your car. i can also fit an APC sticker on my trunk but that doesn't make it a good choice either lol. stay away from the t25 like the plague. if you're on a really really really tight budget i guess you could use it, but you shouldn't be doing any serious power mods on a tight budget anyways. the 14b or a small 16g will be perfect for your 4g64.
This is just a short general list...

get a 1st gen eclipse turbo manfold with a 16g turbo, and if u do ur kit gt a band new turbo trust me ull save alot of time.
1st gen manifold is prone to crack & leak. 2nd Gen is better! You're right about the new turbo though.Originally Posted by Boostedgalant56

i felt the 14b was too small when i had it on my ol 7g. i couldnt imagine having a t25, that thing would spool at like 1500 rpm. but then it would fall off real fast
You have a 2000 galant...so you have the reversed 4g64's unlike the 7th gens. You can use a EVO 4-8 exhaust manifold since the configuration is the same on the 2nd gen 4g63's. I think 2nd gen 4g63's ALL came with 16g turbos factory. Correct me if I am wrong...but I don't think EVO 1-3 and 1st and 2nd gen Eclipse/Talons/Lasers/GVR4 manifold will bolt up the 99+ 4g64 heads.
T25's are garbage...they wont last long once you run higher boost.

A 14b isn't too small...they are really good turbos. They are guys still running 14b's and running 11' and 12's in them (Of course with real good tuning) Its a good turbo..trust me, i'm using one 8)Originally Posted by j686m

the 14b was pretty much made for our engines, everyone who's running it has nothing but great things to say
14b is too small for a v6. And with the 2.4L a 14b is still pretty small. Not too small, but with 2.4L you should want something bigger. An 18g from Forced Performance and a bullseye housing would be a great setup for a 2.4L.
7g for life!
hell yeah it would. with at least a 16g you are going ot have enough flow to pull all the way to the red. with a big 16g or a 18g you will have enough breath to pull all the way to red in every gear cept maybe 5th.

Bigger turbos are only better for the 2.4 if you're building more boost, and you've done some motor work. For all of us using stock internals, the 14b is sufficient.
Yeah the 2nd Gen manifold will fit. It has been done & used a lot times by some.Originally Posted by 4-G-rim

t25 works fine... no problems whatsoever on 10 psi . the turbo can handle 17-18...i dont know why everyone is knockin it, if thats what you can afford , then use it...
If you cant afford an $100 14b, you shouldnt be considering turbo as an option. The 14b will pull so much harder at any psi then the t25...
7g for life!
a t-25 can only safely run 15-16 psi effieciently on a 2.0l on a 2.4 it could never keep up with the adde airflow and displacement. not only wou,ld it be a tremendous restriction to your exhaust flow(due to the tuniy turbine housing) it would run out of breath in no time.Originally Posted by galant03-4g64t
just get a 14b, besides i've never run into a t-25 without major shaft play.
