235/40/17s fit without rubbing or looking retarded

When i get my next set of tires would 235/40/17s look to sticking out? i have 17/7.5s

theres some pictures not of side profile of my car with the same rims with 215/45/17s

i saw on the 3g forum 7.5 was minimum for 235/45/17 u think its that much of a diff i know its easyer to fit a taller tire on a smaller rim such as a 45 vs the 40 but ehnooo
