let us know how this works out... but for $579 you could have gotten the powerslot plus big rotor kit w/pads...
just grabbed their front and rear slotted cross drilled rotors and axxis ultimate ceramic pad package for 358.23 shipped. the few reviews i have read on them seemed real positive...i cant wait to get these on, my brakes are mush as of now. ill post a review once i get them on.

nope, but you could get pads at a good price and shipping on them is like $20, still a heck of a deal...
lol, i have no need for a big brake kit...just seems like overkill to me.
i got an 01 GTZ qnz.
hmmm.....very interesting. My rotors just came in today..Upon inspection i come to find a brembo stamp on them.
Front Rotor
Here is the Brembo trademark etched in the rotor...kinda hard to make out in the pic but look close..
Rear Rotor
These were suppose to come with Axxis brake pads but i got PBR instead... O well, they look good enough for me.
Same pads as Axxis but different distributor.
someone correct me if im wrong but i thought true brembos don't make drilled and slotted rotors
ive never heard that before... :puzzled1:
And its just the front 2 that have that etching...i wonder what gives... im gonna try calling IRotors tomarow just to see what they say. The rotors look real good though. They dont look cheap at all and also come with the zinc plating to prevent rust.....the true test will be coming shortly.
These are likely machined from Stock brembos. but brembo does x-drill and slot their performance rotors I believe.

lol, i was just about to post and say the same thing.. that idea just came to me.Originally Posted by ChikagoGTZ
be sure to flush out your enitire brake system with some high boiling point synthetic dot4 fluid. I don't like valvoline oils, but they make a great brake fluid that has the highest boiling point(wet and dry) that i've seen off the shel at your typical parts store. that way you will get maximum clamping force and even brake distribution so you don't warp these fine rotors or cause uneven pad wear.
its not hard.

good call on the brake flush...wasnt even thinking about that....i would hate to have to turn a rotor in the first 5k. good lookin.
they bite so hard. especially with a good flush.
you need to go ahead and get some stainless lines to complete the package. makes the car safer, resist fade even more. much more clamping force due to no hose swelling.
my car and even my dad's diamante stop on a dime with this setup.
i've been stopping hard for 2 years with these now. just ordred my first set of front replacement pads and didn't even have to turn the rotor

it was after i bought this kit i saw they had another one with the SS lines... :? I might grab those a little later down the road.. at least now i know where i can get them from. Ya, those pics dont do these rotors justice...they are so clean and solid...and the machine work on them is flawless.

don't buy your stainless lines through them, my dads diamante lines are from them but they cost a bit. get some magnum lines off ebay. much cheaper and just as good. like 60 bucks

$579 is pretty expensive. you could get genuine brembo SPORT brakes (front+rear) and axxis ult pads for $420 at importrp.com. they lack the bling factor of xdrilled and slotted but atleast these were made to brembo's manufacturer's specs. i feel silly paying $200 for rotors that a comapny bought from brembo for $50 and then added holes to and calling it the same as brembo.

First, Irotors doesnt advertise these as Brembos and second i didnt pay 579 dollars either..... i feel you need to work on your reading comprehension skills a little more. Its not like they took a screwdiver and just made some holes in these rotors...they are CNC machined... and come with a warranty. It really comes down to personal opinion on cross drilled. Some say they are functional some say they arent.
I would of gone with some powerslots but after reading multiple reviews on warping i said fuck that. I havent read one bad review on Irotors to date.
